A patio is a small piece of architecture — a surface that has to drain, freeze, thaw, hold its line under a thousand pounds of furniture and still feel like the floor of a room. Most of our work happens before the first paver is set: grade reading, sub-base compaction, joint sand selection. The stone is the easy part.
